Nicole strongly believes that stress plays a powerful role in health, and places a special focus on stress reduction with all of her patients, regardless of condition—whether they are sick, in pain, or working to improve overall wellness. Before studying Chinese Medicine, she worked in nonprofit management, fundraising, and program management. She lives with her family in Ocean Beach, is a busy mom, and loves yoga, swimming, travel, and reading.
Mary Vincent, L.Ac., MSTOM, has been working at BCA since 2011. Mary began studying the human body while earning her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Mexico in 2000. She became specifically interested in Traditional Chinese Medicine after observing an acupuncturist guest speaker in an anthropology class. As someone who had been enduring back pain without successful treatment, she was personally interested in whether acupuncture could help her condition. After a few acupuncture treatments, she discovered first hand a treatment modality that diminished her back pain which significantly improved her overall well being.
Upon receiving her Bachelor’s degree, she moved to San Diego and earned her Master’s degree from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. She completed clinical rotations at Pacific’s clinic and Rady Children’s Hospital.
