Today’s U-T San Diego featured an interview with Nicole Murray, L.Ac., MSTOM, who graduated from PCOM in 2008. Nicole founded Beach Community Acupuncture in Ocean Beach in 2009 and provides more than 10,000 treatments every year. She also works with two other PCOM alumni–Mary Vincent, L.Ac., MSTOM and Celeste Salerno, L.Ac., MSTOM.

The article, “Doctors Finally Getting the Point of Acupuncture”, by Erinn Hutkin, is on the front page of the September 23rd Health section. Gerald Williams, clinical director and founder of San Diego’s Wellness Institute of America, discusses the origins and effects of acupuncture. Nicole talks about the experience of receiving acupuncture, its growing acceptance in Western medicine, and how to find the acupuncturist that’s right for you.
